Todd Gilleland

Executive Creative Director

Todd began his career in the mailroom of McCann Erickson. Between delivering packages and driving executives to and from the airport, he methodically worked his way into the Creative Department. From there, he went on to hold senior positions at Young & Rubicam and Digitas in San Francisco before returning to Detroit to create award-winning work for the Jeep and Dodge brands at BBDO. He’s also served as Creative Director at a few smaller shops, which has allowed him to merge the entrepreneurial spirit of an independent agency with the global perspective of a larger shop. When he’s not obsessing over the agency’s creative output, he enjoys photography and heavy metal concerts.
